That's Cool, Tell Me More...

My music combines Alternative and Progressive Rock with sprinklings of other genres like Electronic, Ambient, Reggae and Drum & Bass. I’ve recorded 4 albums as a solo artist with another on the way. Before that I was in a band called Speed of Life in Brooklyn NY that recorded 2 albums as well. I’ve also lived and recorded in different places over the years including New York, LA, Hamburg Germany and Sagres Portugal and each chapter left a mark on my sound.

What's The Music About?

The music I write is mostly about emotional processing. It’s become my thing. It’s what I feel needs to be done when let’s face it, so many of us have been emotionally stunted. For me the only way out of an emotion is to go through it. If you’ve ever felt like you’re carrying too much, you’ve had to start over, or made a big life change then you’ll probably understand what I’m up to.

Music can help us deal with stress, fear, and anxiety. It can straighten out our minds when they’re off and running. It can also help us reestablish a sense of connection to ourselves and others. Since 2008 I’ve been studying Indigenous Plant Medicine healing. One of my main teachings has been that although we generally live in a mind based culture we are so much more than just our minds. We can integrate our body, heart and spirit as well. My music is for people who know something that breaks you open can also make you grow.

Why I'm Offering A Free CD?

Streaming is great for access and I use it all the time. But it’s not how I experience music most deeply.

A CD or Vinyl Album is different. You listen in order and hear how the songs relate to each other. It becomes part of a moment, maybe a drive late at night, or during a stretch of life that needs a soundtrack. You literally hold the art in your hands. It’s an experience, not just tracks on a playlist.

About My Album: Shadows

Shadows is an album that's very near and dear to my heart. I spent two years gigging all over Hamburg, Germany, and Shadows grew out of that period. Most of the tracks were recorded with the live band I was playing with at the time and you can hear that tightness translated straight into the studio. The remaining tracks were conceived in Germany and finished afterwards, which ended up producing some of my favorite songs I've ever written, including the mellow "Inch Away" and the powerful "Like The Snake."

The album has a natural arc to it. It opens with the explosive title track "Shadows" and stays upbeat through the first half, closing that stretch with a unique rock cover of Empire of the Sun's "We Are the People." The second half shifts gears. "Inch Away" eases you in before "Something's Going Down" builds into what feels like an epic show closer, and the whole thing ends with the long, trippy after-hours track "Mystic Dancer."

What Getting The CD Represents

You know how you probably have thousands of pictures on your phone and rarely look at them? A few years back I went through my pictures and picked out the best artsy ones, travel spots and friends and family shots to have them printed. They now are in multiple collages on the walls of my studio. Guess which pics I see the most? When my nieces and nephews come over they always ask about different pictures and I get to tell them the story behind them. They’ve rarely seen a pic on my phone.

When you get the CD, you’re choosing to engage more deeply while I’m choosing to keep making work that’s intentional, independent, and un-compromised. Your direct support like this is what allows me to keep making music without diluting it or chasing trends.

If You're Someone Who:

  • has connected to music to process something real in your life
  • values albums as journeys, not just singles
  • sees travel, change, and transition as part of growth
  • …then this CD is probably for you.

You cover shipping and handling.
I’ll take care of the rest.
